When I first started my career, I thought that I wanted to buy rental properties and flip houses. As I began to see success in that, I also saw family members retire by investing in rental properties.
That experience framed my perspective on buying and selling. I realized that buying a home isn’t just a place to physically live, it’s also a means to a better life fo our clients. That’s why in 2006 I started Kevin Currie Group. At Kevin Currie Group, it is our mission to empower clients to make the best decision for their future by guiding them through decisions — big and small.

In 2006, Kevin earned his real estate license to buy a rental property for himself. He had no intention of ever doing it for a living. But after helping a few friends and colleagues buy and sell their homes, Kevin was hooked and went into real estate full time. Because Kevin loves helping clients realize their dreams, he’s been a top producer for Hometown Realty in the Greater Richmond area since 2010. With a family of her own, Jessica understands how important the right home—from the size to the features to the location—is to families purchasing their first house or making a change as their needs shift. Jessica, whose experience includes first-time homebuying, short sales (buying and listing) and downsizing, works hard to ensure her clients know what to expect every step of the way and make the process as stress-free as possible. Joining Kevin Currie Group in 2013, Jessica focuses on the Chesterfield area.

It was only a few years ago when Tim bought his first home, and because he was new to the area, he had to really research the different parts of Richmond to learn what was out there. Tim brings that insight to the table when he’s helping first-time homebuyers find the perfect place to settle down, build equity and start families. While he knows buying and selling homes can be challenging, he tries to make the process effortless—and even fun—for his clients. Tim joined Kevin Currie Group in 2014 and focuses on the City of Richmond and Chesterfield areas.

For the last 12 years, Julie and her family have called Richmond home. Before relocating, she spent 2 years as a Transaction Coordinator for a real estate company in Connecticut and has continued that role in the Richmond area. Julie enjoys helping clients achieve their goals whether selling or buying or assisting them with the process towards a successful closing.
